A student at the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Ololade Ayelabola, has completed a new Guinness World Record, GWR, for the longest distance walked by a model. The model, who completed a 130.62km catwalk, started a 120km attempt on October 1 at the indoor sports centre of UNILAG. After hitting the 120km mark, she completed an additional 10km of walking, making 2,058 laps within the sports centre. Former Miss South Africa contestant, Chidinma Adetshina, 23, has declared her interest in finding out more of her Nigerian descent. Adetshina disclosed this in an interview with News Live SA posted on X.com on Thursday. During the interview, she mentioned that she hadn’t visited the country in over 20 years and she is fascinated by the Nigerian culture. Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina has withdrawn from the Miss South Africa pageant. The Miss SA finalist has been at the centre of controversy around her citizenship.
