#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria: Children lead protest in Jalingo (photos)

Children aged 8-13 and youths on joined the nationwide #endbadgovernance protest on Thursday, August 1.

The protest began on the popular Hamaruwa Way and proceeded towards the Roadblock Flyover, a notable landmark in the city.

The children chanted, “Bamu ai, bamu ai,” in Hausa which translates to “We don’t agree, we don’t agree,”

Some others carried placard and banners which read “End insecurity” among other inscriptions.

The protesters were closely monitored by personnel from the police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
