A mum-of-one, identified simply as Deborah, is seeking justice after a man named Nosakhare Uhuarabona allegedly beat her up to avoid repairing the damage done to her car.
The corps member explained that she was driving last Monday, Jan. 8 when the man allegedly bumped into her and her vehicle’s bumper fell off.
When she confronted him and asked him to repair the damage, she alleged he turned violent and beat her up, leaving her with a broken lip and black eyes.
She said she reported to the Ugbor police station and also gave them further details, including that the man’s wedding day is on Saturday, Jan. 13.
However, she claimed the police has been collecting money from her but are not doing anything to bring her alleged abuser to book. She also accused the police of hiding her abuser.
