Ms. Charity Owoh, a media personality with Hot FM Lagos, has called out Ms. Ibilola Amao and her son after her colleague was assaulted.
According to Charity Owoh, Ashley, who also works with Hot FM, was at Davido’s concert when Amao’s son accused him of phone theft and beat him up.
The media personality added that Ashely explained to them that he works in the media and had not stolen any phone but they kept beating him, even though they had no proof he stole the phone.
She said the Ms. Amao and her son later took Ashley to the police station and the police refused to detain him because of how badly he had been beaten.
The police asked Ms. Amao to take Ashely to the hospital first but she and her son dumped him in front of Hot FM after finding out he eas innocent, Charity Owoh said.
Sharing photos of Ashley’s bruised face, Ms. Owoh said they called Ms. Amao to confront her about the injustice their colleague was subjected to but Amao told them, “be happy he wasn’t killed.”
She is now asking that Ashley gets and apology and compensation.
